Born and raised in Hawai‘i, Dr. Elliot Kim is a proud graduate of Punahou School. His passion for dentistry was sparked early on while working as a dental assistant at his uncle’s practice, influenced by family members with deep roots in the profession. It was during this time that Dr. Kim gained a firsthand understanding of how much dental care affects not just a person’s smile, but their confidence, comfort, quality of life, and overall well-being. Witnessing the transformation in patients—moving from dental pain or self-consciousness to relief and renewed self-esteem—solidified his desire to pursue a career in dentistry.
Dr. Elliot Kim earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. Recognized as an Associate Fellow by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), he demonstrates advanced training and dedication to continuing education, particularly in the field of implant dentistry.
Dr. Elliot Kim’s passion for serving and giving back to his home community led him to become an owner of three offices in Honolulu, Waipahu, and Kahului. He is especially committed to improving access to care for underserved populations and those with limited dental services. He finds great purpose and joy in serving others and remains dedicated to promoting better oral health for all.
Dr. Elliot Kim’s philosophy centers around education and clear communication. He believes in empowering patients by thoroughly explaining their oral health conditions and treatment options in an easy-to-understand way. By fostering trust and ensuring patients feel informed and heard, he strives to meet—and exceed—their expectations.
Since moving back to the islands in 2018, Dr. Elliot Kim has provided personalized, compassionate dental care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
